This belonged to my granddaddy and was purchased in South Carolina about 35 years ago. It was handmade and is incredibly sturdy. It is made out of a bent piece of wood but was made that way and stands straight. Please see photo close ups for condition, for instance the rubber foot has aged and there is a split in the wood but it’s always been there and in no way affects the sturdiness of this cool walking cane.
I stand 5’6 and it’s a bit tall for me. It is 39” long.
